New decade already....

I have been thinking a lot today about this last year and last decade as well as I am gobsmacked at how quickly this has come around!

I'm sure I am not alone in feeling like this.

So what has happened in this last decade...

I can't even remember how many house moves we've had... A few job changes, Luca and Jake both starting school and Luca starting secondary school as well! Jakes diagnosis journey started this decade and all the fights to get him in the best school possible. Oh how worth it all was! We are now waiting to hear what secondary school he will go come September 2020.

I had gastric surgery back in 2013 which I can truly say was a life saving and changing thing. Thank God for NHS! It really did save my life and it was like a new start in every aspect of my life.

I passed my driving test, we got a car, Kyle finished his degree, I starter volunteering after being off for a few years due to many reasons. This role ended up being a paid job in the end. I also went back to college and studied Health & Social Care. We had the most amazing surprise just before Christmas 2015. We were going to be parents again for the third time! This was one of the most exiting but also scary times.

We were absolutely over the moon when we found out that the bundle was going to be pink... Family was going to be complete.

Phoebe was born 3 weeks after I finished my qualification at college. We decided I wouldn't go back to work from maternity leave and become a stay at home mum.

We were very immersed in the children's ministry at church as well as church life in general. This is such a huge part of our lives still to this day.

Around when Phoebe was two, I started to toy with the idea of going back to work. The childcare would cost too much though so we had a think and the idea of Annly Gift Shop started to take shape.

I took the plunge and started to develop products and my social media presence and also registered as self employed.

Annly Gift Shop turned 1 on the 1st of December 2019 and it's still feeling like a dream.

I have been overwhelmed by all the love and support over this last 10 years but especially in the last year.

There are way too many people to mention but my husband is my number one fan in anything personal, business and church things we do and I could not do any of this without him! He works all hours around the clock to provide for the family and help me carry on with my dream. One day, I pray, I will be able to help to contribute financially to the household.

Dreams and action plans for the next year and decade?

I can't wait to see Luca do his GCSEs, and start the next step in his life.

I can't wait to see how Jake will do in secondary school and anything else he decides to do.

I can't wait to see Phoebe grow up to a teenager and step into her destiny.

I would love to go on an amazing cruise with my husband around the Norwegian Fjords.

I would love to have an active website for Annly.

I would love to publish a cook book through Annly.

I would love for one day to have a physical shop for Annly.

Most of all,

I can't wait to do all this with my partner in crime, best friend and soul mate, my husband Kyle.
