This is me

Oh wow, starting my own blog... Not really sure where to start to be honest, so bare with me, I'm sure this will all make sense in the very near future....

My name is Sabina and I am 36 years old married mom of three living in the amazing city of Sheffield in South Yorkshire, England. I have been here since 1999 and moved over from Finland which is where I grew up and my mom is from. I was born in Italy which is where my father is from so a bit of a mixture when it comes to cultures but this will explain my influences when you find out about my cooking and baking and all things traditions.

I am a christian and attend my local church and am very involved in all different types of areas in our church life. Absolutely love having an extended family as my own is so far away. I have got my immediate family here with me though which is a huge blessing especially when it comes to babysitting favors... Obviously not just for babysitting but they have been there for me through thick and thin and I will be posting separately about all of that.

I met my husband who is from Sheffield in 2005 and we got married two years later to the date and will be celebrating 12 years of marriage in February 2019. Gosh, that has gone so quick! We have three beautiful children that I could not be more proud of! Our eldest is 11 and has just started secondary school which has just made me feel that little bit older... He is excelling in all things in his life that he decides to do and he is the male version of me in the way that we are both stubborn but love people. He made me a mom and I just love him. Our second son is nine and attending a special needs school and he has gone through a lot in his young life already. I will again be posting a separate blog about him and our journey with him. He has made me see the world through his innocent eyes and taught me so much this way. Last but by no means the least, we have our two year old daughter who came along to complete our little tribe and how she has completed it. She brings so much joy and happiness to whoever meets her and she just bursts radiance and joy. We also have our little dog called Milly who has the patience of a saint in our household.

So this is me in a nutshell.
